Stepping Stones Day Nursery

Our Nursery aims and commitment to quality

A warm welcome to you and your child from all the staff at Stepping Stones.

We believe it is important that children feel happy and secure within our nursery so that they can learn effectively. We also welcome parental involvement and participation in our nursery activities. There are many opportunities for parents/carers to get to know each other and staff, including parent’s evenings, information evenings, Theatre trips, Saturday Stay and Play sessions and Fun Days.

All staff hold a relevant child care qualification and other relevant training is regularly undertaken at various levels, ensuring staff are able to carry out their duties in a competent and professional manner. We take pride in employing good quality staff who are passionate about working with children. Many of our staff have worked at the nursery for in excess of 10 years, and some over 15!

At Stepping Stones we offer a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn at their own pace.

It is a real home from home experience and we believe that children need to feel valued and free from discrimination. We recognise that children’s attitudes towards others are established in their early years.
